This is the API of tazobactam, β- Lactamase inhibitor, the third generation of strong antibacterial synergist, combined with piperacillin or cefoperazone can enhance their efficacy and prolong their action time. When tazobactam sodium is combined with piperacillin sodium, it has obvious synergistic effect. It is widely used in the treatment of severe systemic and local infection, abdominal infection, lower respiratory tract infection, soft tissue infection, sepsis, etc. it has a wider antibacterial spectrum and indications than other antibacterial compounds, and shows great advantages in overcoming drug resistance.

Application
It is suitable for sepsis, complex cystitis and pyelonephritis caused by Staphylococcus, coliform, citric acid bacteria, Klebsiella, enterobacter, provederia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
