Product Intro
Pemetrexed disodium hydrate (ly-231514) pemetrexed is a new antifolate and antimetabolic substance. The Ki of TS, DHFR and GARFT are 1.3 nm, 7.2 nm and 65 nm respectively. Pemetrexed disodium hydrate can stimulate autophagy and apoptosis.
In vitro studies:Pemetrexeddisodium showed antitumor activity in CCRF-CEM leukemia, GC3 / C1 colon cancer, and HCT-8 ileocecal colon cancer cells with IC50 of 25 nm, 34 nm, and 220 nm, respectively. A recent study showed that cisplatin and pemetrexed combined with SOCS-1 gene transfer showed antitumor effects by inhibiting cell proliferation and invasion and inducing apoptosis of MPM cells infected with adenovirus expressing SOCS-1 vector.
In vivo studies:
In human H460 non-small cell lung cancer xenografts, pemetrexeddisodium produced sustained dependent tumor growth delay (TGD).
