Product intro
This product, also known as triazolobactam, is a derivative of sulbactam and is irreversible competitive β- Lactamase inhibitor, mediated by penicillinase produced by Staphylococcus aureus and plasmid produced by gram-negative bacilli β- Lactamases are mediated by chromosomes produced by Proteus, Bacteroides and Klebsiella β- Lactamases have strong inhibitory effects. The inhibition of enzyme was better than clavulanic acid and sulbactam, and it also inhibited some chromosome mediated type I enzymes. It has little effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Serratia. Only weak antibacterial activity.
Function
β- Lactamase inhibitor, the third generation of strong antibacterial synergist, combined with piperacillin or cefoperazone can enhance their efficacy and prolong their action time. When tazobactam sodium is combined with piperacillin sodium, it has obvious synergistic effect. It is widely used in the treatment of severe systemic and local infection, abdominal infection, lower respiratory tract infection, soft tissue infection, sepsis, etc. it has a wider antibacterial spectrum and indications than other antibacterial compounds, and shows great advantages in overcoming drug resistance.
