Product Intro
Piperacillin is a penicillin broad-spectrum antibiotic. It mainly plays a bactericidal role by interfering with the synthesis of bacterial cell wall. It is mainly used for the infection caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and various gram-negative bacilli, but it is easy to be produced by bacteria β‑ Lactamase hydrolysis and drug resistance; Sulbactam has no antibacterial activity against other bacteria except Neisseria and Acinetobacter β‑ Lactam resistant strains produce most important antibiotics β‑ Lactamase has irreversible inhibition.
Function
It has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis and diphtheria, especially against Streptococcus, but it has poor effect on enzyme producing Staphylococcus aureus; It also has strong antibacterial effect on some common gram-negative bacilli, such as Proteus, dysentery bacilli, some Serratia, Pseudomonas, Citrobacter, Salmonella, etc.
Application
It is mainly used for sepsis, respiratory tract infection, urethral infection, biliary tract infection, gynecological infection, skin and soft tissue infection caused by the above sensitive bacteria.
