FUNCTION
3-hydroxyacetophenone is an intermediate of phenylephrine. It has obvious vasoconstriction. Increase peripheral vascular resistance and increase systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The effect is weaker than that of noradrenaline, but it lasts for a long time. It has no direct effect of exciting the heart and can reflexively slow down the heart rate. Continuous use, no drug resistance. This product also has the effect of mydriasis, with fast effect and short duration, and does not increase intraocular pressure and cause regulatory paralysis.
APPLICATION
It is suitable for raising blood pressure and treating septic toxic shock and anaphylactic shock. It is also used to control the onset of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.
