Product Intro
Calcium hydroxymethionine, MHA CA for short, is a calcium salt containing 84% HMTBA (2-hydroxy-4-methylthiobutyric acid), which is mainly used as feed additive. As early as the 1950s, MHA has been applied in animal husbandry, and MHA has been proved to be a methionine source with excellent performance for feed industry, animal husbandry and PET production enterprises. MHA is a solid granular product, which is very economical and effective. In addition to being a source of methionine, MHA can also provide some additional performance advantages. Therefore, MHA is ideal for premix, concentrate and farm self batching.
Function
This product is a feed nutritional fortifier. In the presence of L-methionine, its function and biological titer are the same as DL Methionine. Lack of methionine in livestock and poultry will cause dysplasia, weight loss, weakening of liver and kidney function, muscle atrophy, fur deterioration and so on.
Application
This product is widely used in organic synthesis, dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and so on.
