Product Intro
Nome progesterone, also known as normegestrone, is an oral drug suitable for patients with luteal insufficiency. Its affinity with progesterone receptor was 2.5 times that of progesterone, and its oral progesterone activity was 1.4 times stronger than that of megestrone and 4 times stronger than that of angon progesterone; No androgen or estrogen activity. After oral absorption, the blood concentration reached the peak after 2 hours, T1 / 230 hours
Function
Nomegestrol is a progestin, has high binding affinity at progesterone receptor, with a Kd of 5.44 nM for rat uterine progesterone receptor. Nomegestrol acetate (NOMAC) is a higly selective progesterone receptor full agonist, but shows no or little binding affinity at other steroid receptors, such as the androgen and glucocorticoid receptors. Nomegestrol acetate has moderate antiandrogenic activity and strong antiestrogenic activity.
Application
It is used for diseases caused by insufficient corpus luteum function, such as menstrual disorder, dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, breast pain, menopausal syndrome, etc.
