Function

Erlotinib acts on HNS head and neck tumor cells and effectively inhibits EGFR autophosphorylation. HNS head and neck tumor cells are cell lines expressing high levels of EGFR. Erlotinib had no effect on the proliferation of SBC-5 cells. On the contrary, erlotinib significantly inhibited the proliferation of PC-9 cells in a dose-dependent manner.
